How many times can you marry a foreigner? 6 Answers as of July 10, 2012
I heard you can only have 1 marriage visa & 1 fiancé visa. Or two fiancé visas. Is that correct? That means that if you get married to a crazy foreign woman twice your luck is out to bring a third one? They say third is the charm, but I heard our USA laws prevent Americans to marry a foreigner more that two times. Just want to know if it's true and if there are any special cases! Not true. If fraud is suspected, then USCIS will deny your petition for your foreign spouse. But to flat out deny it flat out just because it is your 2nd, 3rd or 4th marriage to a foreign woman would be denying you your constitutional rights. Everything always depends on a person?s specific circumstances. You are free to marry whomever you want as many times as you want. It is right there on the declaration of Independence that you can freely engage in the pursuit of happiness and I think love is part of it.

There is no law limiting the number of times you can marry a foreigner. However, the more foreigners you married, the closer USCIS will look into your current marriage and spouse?s petition and could deny the petition based upon their belief that it is a sham marriage.

That is absolutely not true. We have clients who married aliens more than 3 times and many of them successfully petitioned their spouse to the US. Having said that, it is true that the USCIS and the US embassy will scrutinize your petition much more carefully if you married aliens more than once and you filed petitions for them. You just need to document your case better. Competent legal representation is strongly urged.
