How does a subpoena work, is there a time frame and what if he doesn't respond? 1 Answers as of September 15, 2017

Petitioner didn't show up to recent hearing, so respondent is now sending a subpoena. Petitioner has made no attempt to see the child in months, and now doesn't have a lawyer, nor is he cooperating and turning in disclosure paperwork. I do have a lawyer but I am curious to hear other responses on what could happen next and how the subpoena works.
