How do multiple DUI convictions affect Child Visitation? 1 Answers as of May 21, 2017

My wife's ex-boyfriend is seeking supervised visitation. We knew he had a prior DUI about two years ago and we just discovered he had another DUI a few months ago. Not even two years apart. He also has other issues going against him like domestic abuse and not completing a 52 week batterer's program. He also had the SWAT team raid his house for being a drug dealer, but he wasn't caught with the drugs. What are our chances for him not to have any visitation? He also tried to abduct the child when he has born in the hospital. At the moment my wife has sole custody. The child is 2 years old.

There are a host of legal concerns raised with your description. Having someone who's been abusive in a domestic situation could endanger the child's safety. Please meet with an experienced family law attorney and construct a parenting plan where there would be supervised visitation, proof of sobriety and anger management imposed by court order on the biological father.
