How do I protect an invention idea that I have from the people that I will hire to do the prototype? 1 Answers as of October 15, 2014

I have an idea and I'm going to need a couple of skilled workers to help me create a prototype. What legal form should I use to protect my invention from the skilled worker? Example: I need someone to create drawings and someone to create the prototype based on the detailed drawings.

Use a non-disclosure agreement (confidentiality agreement). If you have a patent application already filed, then that is the safest.
