As a parent you have the right to get information. You need to contact DFCS in the county where your son was taken into DFCS custody and they should talk to you. You may have a hard time getting someone on the phone and if that is the case, go to the DFCS office in person. You might also try to go to the juvenile court clerk's office as well, because if your child was taken into State custody, it is possible that a case was filed in juvenile court.
