I have two daughters; the older one got pulled over and gave the cops her younger sister’s name. The younger one now has fines and ticket and can’t get her driving license. How can she fix this?

She should motion the ticket into court, and inform the judge that her sister was the culpable party, who used her name and license information. Your sister should go also, and admit that she did this, and will probably be charged with the tickets herself, but you should have the tickets dismissed/wrong defendant.

She has to get a lawyer and fight the tickets and make them prove the case. Last time I had such a case the cop came in and said that is not the person and the prosecutor dismissed the case.

Your younger daughter should retain legal counsel. The only way she can fix this will be to file a complaint accusing your older daughter of filing a false police report and engaging in impersonation. Your older daughter could go to jail for this so she also will need counsel.
