You do not need the consent of the other spouse in order to get divorced. So long as you have been separated for the required amount of time, and meet the other jurisdictional, residency, and statutory requirements, you can be divorced over the objection of your spouse. One spouse cannot force the other spouse to remain married to them against their will.
