How can I live and work in the US? 2 Answers as of June 09, 2011

My baby was born in the u.s but his father and i are not u.s. citizens. We live int he Bahamas but both of our fathers live int u.s. One has citizenship and the other has permanent residency. Can our baby having a U.S. status help us to obtain status to live in the U.S. or can our fathers help us? Take in mind that we cannot locate either of our fathers.

Your baby can file a petition for you after he is 21 years old. Was your parent a US citizen when you were born? If so it is necessary to check whether you derived citizenship from him.

Your Child can help you after he or she turns 21. If you can locate your fathers, a petition in their names can't be submitted then.
