Does the school pay out of pocket costs if he was playing at school and collided with another child? 2 Answers as of July 30, 2017

My son fractured his wrist at school and will be in a cast for 3 weeks. He and the other child fell and the child fell on his wrist causing a buckle fracture. My husband had to leave work and take him to immediate care to get an X-Ray. The following day, I had to take him to an orthopedic doctor to get him a cast. He will need to have the cast for 3 weeks.

Your sole recovery is through whatever insurance you may have. The school is NOT liable for any conduct unless it rises to the level of willful and wanton. None of the facts here, even come close.
