Does the father have rights to visitation? 2 Answers as of July 26, 2011

My ex kicked me out when I was 9 mo pregnant. He did not meet our daughter until she was almost 2 months old. He then started spending time with her. We got back together and planned to move in together until I asked for child support. He then ended our relationship again and stopped seeing our daughter. I brought him back to court and he now pays child support. Now it has been 10 months since he has made any contact with me about seeing her. Now he wants visitation. She is 14 months old and he only saw her when she was 2 months old until she was 5 months old. Does he still have the rights to visitation?

Yes. The approach the court will use is to slowly integrate her back into her life.

Yes but the reunification should be in a way that the child is comfortable with.
