Do I need a business license to protect my home address? Posted on July 17, 2011

I am an ordained minister in Pennsylvania who operates online only via video chat and phone calls. I am in the process of becoming a LLC to protect myself and my assets since I work from home. Due to the public nature of the LLC address, I am renting a box with a street address in Philly in order to protect myself from my home address (-in Delaware county) being made public. Do I need a business license for Philly since I would not want to get it in Delaware because again, they are public record? Could I get in trouble for not having one in Delaware County, if so- how do I protect my home address.
