Do I have legal grounds to sue a Pharmacist? Posted on May 01, 2011

My boss (who is a Pharmacist) diagnosed me with Plantar Fasciitis (which my doctor also diagnosed me with later) and prescribed a physical therapy regiment because I didn't have insurance and he said" he could save me a lot of money!" I believe he showed me the exercises improperly because my pain gradually got worse daily after beginning this regimen. Some days I would literally be in tears because of the pain. I did some research and found out that it is illegal for a pharmacist to diagnose someone much less prescribe treatment. I have witnessed him diagnosing other people as well. He needs to be stopped. I feel like he and my employer should be held accountable for his actions.
