Do I have a case if I found a bone in my food? 2 Answers as of March 08, 2012I got a burrito from a restaurant and almost choked on a 1 inch bone that was inside the burrito! I have the bone, I have pictures and I have documentation from where my husband and I contacted the store where we got the food from. My husband emailed the corporate office and I called them as well, but we haven't received any correspondence and it has been over a week. Should we continue to pursue this? Do we have a case? And if yes, what do we need to continue?

You should at least consult with a plaintiff's lawyer who handles legal matters against restaurants and other food establishments for specific advice and direction. Perhaps, that lawyer can effectuate a settlement. From your statement, it appears that you were not severely damaged from the bone discovered in the burrito.
