Do I have a case for wrongful termination? Posted on January 13, 2011

My friend was recently (what I feel is wrongful) terminated from his position. There has been a chain of robberies occurring at different stores owned by his ex-employers. On the night he was closing manager, the store was robbed. There was an internal investigation and he voluntarily took a polygraph test, which he failed. He found out later that the test was broken on the day he took the test and no one made him aware of this issue. He was harassed and threatened by the police department and the companies investigators because of the false results. A week later he was terminated by his employer for "not securing the safe", but no conclusive proof was provided to him. Can anything be done about this?
