Do I have any rights against being sued by the small claims court? Posted on July 19, 2011

While at work, I was rotating tires on a truck. I suddenly felt ill and sat down on the floor. My coworker drove me to the nearest hospital where it was found that my heart rate was 280 b/p/m. After several hours my rate returned to normal. The cardiologist there transferred me to a heart center, by ambulance, about an hour away. I was there for three days. I was billed from the ambulance company for $1200.00 which my insurance won't pay because I didn't pay my deductable which is $2500.00. I am now being sued in small claims court under "contract."Is this a contract? What should I do?
