Do I have any legal recourse after a ceiling collapsed at my party? 1 Answers as of March 01, 2011

I had a party at a hall and part of the ceiling collapsed. For what and how much does the owner have to compensate me? Can I ask for a compensation for emotional damage?

Assuming liability can be proven for the ceiling collapse, you are entitled to damages for injury and out of pocket loss. As to emotional damages it is somewhat implied by the facts. Thanks.
