Do I file state tax returns in both California and Hawaii? 2 Answers as of March 23, 2011

I am from Hawaii, enlisted in the military, and stationed in California. I finished my active duty and came out last year and stayed with a relative in California where I initiated my unemployment payments from the military. I then moved back to Hawaii about 2 months after that and continued my unemployment benefits. No taxes were taken out. Do I file state tax returns in both California and Hawaii?

Unemployment in California is not taxable so it would not be necessary to file a California return.
