Once an order is issued, it continues to control until it either expires by the rules of the order, or is modified (or terminated) by a subsequent order. If you did not have your order terminated when you married, it remains in effect. You will be required to abide by it until a new order is issued. If either of you files an action for divorce, you can obtain a new order in those proceedings.

If the custody papers were issued by a court, then both parents are bound by them and can be punished for contempt if they disobey the terms. If they want a modification, they need to go back to court and ask for that.
