Can you change your will after divorce? 3 Answers as of October 29, 2010

My husband and I have been married twenty-five years and have already written our wills. Can these be changed during the divorce proceedings or is this a whole separate process for a probate attorney or someone else?

You can and should update your will and complete estate plan. It is unlikely your divorce attorney can do this for you, but s/he could recommend a good estate planning attorney.
