Generally, the statute of limitations for filing a personal injury claim in Ohio is 2 years from the date of the accident; however, if the victim was a minor at the time of the collision, they MAY have two years from the date of their 18th birthday to file a lawsuit. The facts of each case can change these time frames and as such, you should contact an attorney immediately to ensure that you are not going to miss your statute of limitations.
