The statute that governs sex offender registration in Texas (or the national version known as SORNA) does not provide for expunctions. Rather, it allows for termination of the registration requirement for limited cases after 10 years with all the rest of the cases terminating upon death. If you retain an attorney to look into this, make sure they have handled these cases before because there are some relief measure but they are buried in the statute (and in other codes).
