Can parents and inlaws contest the divorce of their children? 1 Answers as of May 19, 2011

Our son and daughter-in-law are proceeding with a no-fault divorce. At the court hearing, can both sets of parents of the parties contest the divorce? If so, what influence will this have on the judge? It may or may not have any effect on the children, but it would make known to the court the feelings of the parents. My reasoning is that when they were married the question was asked whether anyone opposed this marriage. Therefore, couldn't it be asked whether anyone opposes the divorce?
