Can a parent legally not allow his children to meet the other parent's new boyfriend? Posted on June 28, 2011

My girlfriend for the past few months has two children, a 3 year old and a 12 year old. I have only met the 3 year old one time. We were trying to wait for their father's approval before meeting the oldest son but he is refusing to be civil. Now he is threatening to take her to court and file papers to keep her from introducing them to me. I'm not even sure that's possible. I am a single father with full custody of my own 8 year old, have no criminal history, and I have and will not be spending the night with my girlfriend while the kids are around. Is it even possible for him to legally prevent her from introducing us?
