State and federal convictions can run concurrently (together) or consecutively (one after the other). Parole violations generally run consecutively, but on "the back end" so that it may or may not increase the total amount of time to be served depending on a number of things. I would have to have a lot more information about the facts and circumstances to provide a specific answer in your situation.
