Can the insurance company deny my claim? 1 Answers as of April 12, 2011

Well for started u have to know person 1 owned a motorcycle person 2 owned a truck. They decided hey let's trade vehicles. Person 1 hadn't changed his insurance over from the motorcycle to the truck. Me and person 2 got in a wreck days after this trade, on the motorcycle. I files a claim with the insurance an they denied my claim. They said the reason is because he didn't intent to have and didn't want the insurance even though he hadn't called to cancel it. Can they do that or should I Appeal it? What's my best option?
