Can I visit family after being deported? Posted on June 25, 2011

I am 71 years old and citizen of England. I was deported in 1962 when I was 23. My only family left alive is in the USA. I visited them every year for the past 10 years. Since the new Home Land security was installed and English people now need a visa, I have been prevented from visiting my family. I am old and weary and need the support and help from my family. The 3 weeks vacation with them is a god send to revitalize my life. Surely I have paid for my youthful misdemeanor. I had no problem until just recently. My USA family would like to send references too the USA immigration and vouch for me to be able to visit again. Who do they send too in the USA? Thanks a bunch
