Can I sue my employer for retaliation after reporting harassment? Posted on March 23, 2012
I reported a coworkers sexually harassing me via email. My VP of HR did nothing, and subjected me to the cold shoulder. Instead now she docks my pay when i work for half days or when I am out. I am a exempt employee, and she does not treat the rest of the exempt people in my department this way. They are out, and their vacation remains untouched. This behavior has started since i reported the harassment. I have all the emails with the harassment, formal compliant to the VP,and the vacation balances for my coworkers. I am the only one that is subject to this, and even the Payroll Manager pulled me in to ask why was I the only one being docked.
