Can I sue a bank for not processing a short sale quickly enough? Posted on June 28, 2011We have submitted 2 consecutive offers to the bank for short sale. In each case the bank took so long to process the short sale that the buyer walked away after 90 days. Now they want to foreclose. We don't want money or even to keep the house but we do not want a foreclosure on our credit report. Do we have any legal recourse considering the banks slowness.
