Can I sue an online sweepstakes site for saying I won then saying I didn’t the next day? 1 Answers as of October 25, 2016

An online sweepstakes site said that I won $10,000.00. I’m a VIP and have been playing the game for years. A pop up came up said that I won with my name and address on it.

To sue the company I believe you would have to show you were somehow damaged by the "misnotification". My guess is that it didn't really say you were specifically awarded but that you may have or were one of several who may have - those things read in a very tricky manner. I don't see that you had any losses, unless you convinced someone to loan you money or give you a loan or something based out his "notice".
