In a word, yes and know. You can help her apply for a tourist visa, to live with you guys for six months. Then, if you do it right, you could extend the stay six months. And then, if you do it right, you could extend the stay for another three months after that. But this is not what you are talking about, right? You are asking if a green card holder can apply for a green card for their parent. In a word, no. But as I always say, it's always smart to seek a second opinion.
