Can I put not arrested on my job applications? 2 Answers as of June 10, 2011

I was arrested with driving with a suspended license. The charge was later reduced to driving without license on person. My question is if on applications do I put that yes I have been arrested before or do I just put never been arrested?

I would never advise anyone not to tell the truth. You may consult with a lawyer about your rights and options, but this is my opinion. Good luck.

You are free to do what you want. When you put not arrested and they learn that you have been arrested and fire you, please do not write and ask what your recourse is for being fired, when you know you are lying.
