Can I not allow the grandmother who is currently out on bond for conspiracy to commit murder to pick my child up? 1 Answers as of April 27, 2017

A friend of mine is going through a divorce. She has a protection order against him. The final hearing is next month. He has not agreed to meet her in public to exchange their daughter for visitation. She has to allow his mother to pick up their daughter (the go-between). Her lawyer stated that there's nothing she can do. She has to allow the grandmother to pick up the daughter for his visitation. That seems absurd to me. She legally has to hand her daughter over to her every other weekend and Tuesday.

That is squarely an issue for the Judge in the divorce case.
