I have two companies that I compete with often that use unpaid interns. I have lost jobs to each one of them based on prices. I know that they use unpaid interns because one of my employees worked for them as an unpaid intern. I applied at the other company for a position and was told that "all new hires are hired as unpaid interns". I have 20 years experience. I feel that these organizations are using unfair business practices and artificially lowering their prices to levels I cannot compete with.
