Can I leave the country while on ACOD? 3 Answers as of August 04, 2011

I am currently on a year long ACOD am I allowed to leave the country? I've heard there are no travel restrictions but I just want to double check.

You can go anywhere. There are no restrictions unless you are out on bail (very unlikely) AND the judge gave you specific travel restrictions.

There are never travel restrictions on a one year ACD, but if you are arrested in that period the court will mail you a letter to appear and if you are out of town and don't see the letter you will have a problem.
