Can I hold my apartment complex liable for vehicle damage done by potholes? Posted on March 22, 2011I live in Belleville, MI. The only driveway to my house is a quarter mile long and there are 2 spots where 4-inch deep potholes span the entire width of the drive, making it impassable without hitting one. The abuse finally destroyed one of my tires and a rim, costing me $100. Can I hold my apartment complex liable for the damage?
