Can I have probation transfered to another state? 2 Answers as of April 04, 2011

I have a friend living in Ohio who is on probation for several years. Is it possible to move to Nebraska and get a probation officer in NE to finish out the time?

Most of the time you can transfer probation, but the major concern a lot of the time is the type of case the person is on probation for. The receiving state, i.e., Nebraska does have a right to reject the person. Call for more information.
