Can I go on vacation with my child if I have child custody? 3 Answers as of September 16, 2011
I am from another country where all my relatives lives. I had a baby with an American and would love to go on vacation with my child. However, the father does not want me to and will not sign for a passport. He says he is scared that I may never come back and I believe he's only being vindictive to me. Is there a way to convince him and the courts that this is only a vacation for me to have my child meet family and vise-versa? You can always seek court intervention. You can't make him sign for a passport otherwise.
