My work has a no fault attendance policy meaning absences count against me even if I have a doctors note. I had to leave work to take my wife to the emergency room for an illness for which she was admitted to the hospital and stayed for the next two days. they tell me fmla only applies if I miss more than 3 days of work can they fire me?
