Can I file for a dissolution without meeting residential requirements? Posted on May 09, 2011

I'm filing for dissolution in Ohio without legal counsel. I know that I need to start by filing the petition, but I'm confused by the residential requirements. We have not been separated or living at different addresses. However, my husband travels out of state 3-5 days each week and is home on most weekends. We've also been living in different rooms within the home for nearly 5 years. Do we qualify to petition for dissolution or doe we have to file for separation first to meet the living together criteria?
