Can I be forced to use my 401(k) or IRA to settle a civil lawsuit? 2 Answers as of December 30, 2010

If I am successfully sued by someone and a judgment in excess of my homeowners or auto insurance policy liability limits (e.g. $500,000) is entered, can a judge in California or Washington compel me to use my 401(k), traditional IRA, and/or Roth IRA to settle the judgment?
