Can I be forced to sell my real estate probate property? Posted on March 16, 2011

My wife passed away in 2009, the PR have waived their right to condo, but the estate is wanting a letter from Mortgage Company to release the estate of Liability. I tried to Assume the Loan but the Loan is not Assumable, I have been approved for Loan but the Condo is not on FHA Approved List and the Condo appraised for less that I owe, so that means a lot of out-of-pocket expenses. I am not having any problems making Mortgage payments. The Mortgage has changed the billing statement in my name but says the Loan is Assumable, and since it was in my Wife's name, the Mortgage Co has no issue with me to Continue with payments. Can the PR attorney's force me the sale of the Condo?
