Can I be evicted for having a pet if the contract allows it? 1 Answers as of June 01, 2011

My landlord is threatening to evict me if I don't get rid of my dog even though he was okay with it at first. The contract says that it is okay to own a pet if the landlord permits it. Can he legally evict me?

No, he can not change his mind. If the lease says dogs are OK, then...dogs are OK. And if he give you a hard time, call me and I will let him know what problems he will have if he does not back off.
