Can I be evicted because my landlord thinks I committed a crime? Posted on June 09, 2011

My place of employment was robbed. My roommate used to work there and the manager sent the police to our address because she thinks the ex employee who she fired and is my roommate did the robbing. We weren't home when the police came out so they went to the apartment office and once they were told what happen they assumed the story was true. The Landlord gave me a 7 day notice for zero tolerance. My lease said a person can be evicted if convicted of a crime and some other stuff but how can I be evicted if the police were just coming for questioning and I wasn't convicted?
