Can I be deported for trying to get my drivers licence? 1 Answers as of June 13, 2011

I'm an international student with social security and currently working. If I want to get my driver's license, I have to show my social security number, but I'm afraid that if I do so I'll get deported. Also, I lost my I-94, if I request for a replacement am I at risk as well?

I have never heard of someone getting deported for trying to get a driver's license. Most students can get driver's licenses. And not, you will not be deported for asking for a replacement I-94. Use a lawyer if it makes you feel more secure.
