Can I be arrested and searched if there was no proof I committed a crime? Posted on April 16, 2011

My ex-friend stole my iPod about a month ago and wouldn't give it back. She later keyed my friends car but we had no evidence to charge her so we got into her unlocked car one night at her house and took my iPod out of the front seat. While there my friends put these smelly fish in her vents and stole her speakers from the back. No one saw us, but we know they are going to suspect us. What should I do, and confessing isn't an option for me. What could happen? Can we all be searched?
