Can I be added as a Creditor on a Bankruptcy that went through a year ago? Posted on July 18, 2011

Our Homeowners Association has a Homeowner who filed bankruptcy in April of last year. He owes the Association a large amount of money from past dues and we've held a lien against his property since 1996. We were never included as creditors and only found out about the bankruptcy when we were sending him to a collection agency. Can we be added as a creditor now? If so how do we go about it.
