Can a domestic violence be reduced if my husband didn't hit me? 2 Answers as of May 04, 2015

My husband didn't hit me we were arguing and two people were watching they call the cops and said that he hit me. The day before I got a tooth pulled and I had a little bit of blood on my gums so the cops thought he did hit me.

There are various options to resolve cases without the defendant ending up with a permanent record from it , but don?t be surprised if the prosecutors continue to believe the witnesses and not you regarding whether he hit you or not.

Domestic violence is an add on to another charge, either harassment, assault, etc. For assault the must have been contact made, however, for harassment a hit is not essential. Contact an attorney ASAP! Good luck!
