Can a corrupt video be used as evidence at trial? Posted on August 16, 2011

I made some phone calls to a guy that were recorded with a video camera. However the copy my attorney got through discovery is corrupt and will not play all the way through. It freezes and causes the computer to freeze up. My attorney is dirty and is pushing me to accept a plea deal. My attorney out right refuses to ask the prosecution of a clean copy. This tells me she knows the prosecution has the same copy we got, the corrupt one. Is a corrupt video admissible in court? It does show a portion of me being an ass before it freezes up.
