Can bankruptcy protect from a future judgment? 4 Answers as of August 27, 2010

I was in a car accident in 2009. Will future claims from this accident be covered by bankruptcy? I have not been sued yet but I am fearful that I will get sued. If they do, will the bankruptcy protect me from the judgment?

Bankruptcy protects you from all claims which exist now whether they are suing you already or not. If they have not started yet, then they can no longer move forward.
