Are there any ways to get child support quicker than waiting for the attorney general? Posted on July 10, 2011

My ex is always quitting his jobs and going into hiding to avoid paying child support. I do everything by the letter with the Texas Attorney General's office and their enforcement division. Are there any ways to get child support quicker than waiting for the attorney general which usually takes nearly a year or more for results? Can Social Security be taken from him even though he is not disabled or of retirement age? My son is categorized as mentally disabled if that helps.
